Sleeveless Blazer - Part 2

D.I.Y it!

As I mentioned in the previous post, it was proving difficult trying to locate a long sleeveless blazer in Bahrain and rather than going through the time-consuming headache of  purchasing online I decided to make one myself.

I luckily stumbled on this blazer from the H&M sale at a ridiculous price of only 5 dinar!! It was the perfect length and fit to help recreate the sleeveless look. All I did was simply cut off the sleeves and stitch around the shoulder opening.

The result speaks for itself......

The sleeveless blazer is such a versatile item that it enables you to create many different looks. I was so excited to play around with it and come up with various styles.

Here are some of them.....

Tantalising Teal

While browsing through the Reiss website I spotted this gorgeous maxi skirt. I was immediately lovestruck by that rich sultry colour. Silver works perfectly against the teal adding sophistication to the look.

For those of you who just can't give up your bright bold colours from the summer, then this gorgeous teal is the perfect colour to help you transition into autumn's more softer hues.

The other day I was passing through Zara and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this skirt hanging on the rails looking very lonely all on its own. The last one in stock - and in my size!! Destiny brought us together my little teal beauty.

And here's how I wore it....

(Excuse the no-make-up look....Sorry guys...I'll make more of an effort next time!!)

It's all about the Bling!

Here are some pics from last weekend when I went to my cousin's engagement dinner. No one had seen the ring yet so it was exciting to see what she had chosen!
My outfit I think would have looked better if the heels were higher - but I just love the coral colour of these ones so I had to wear them. They brightened up the outfit.
Pencil skirts are popular this season for creating the 'ladylike' trend. The one I'm wearing is surprisingly comfortable and super stretchy which makes it perfect for eating as much as I can at the dinner!

And there's the ring......a big diamond in the shape of a heart - very romantic!
